cheers Russ, I've just been down to seacliff for a swim and it was pretty flat like the rest of the week, SW and 5 knot bugger.

Its a stange place - when it should it doesn't and when you least epect it it goes off - if it kicks these are the nights that it can be great fun - last time you went down Zubby was sse cold and crappy - hot summer nights with a sthly/ se and a SE part of the High across the state can get ballistic - and great if the swell lines up.

I've said too much already. You just gotta be lucky - once it goes SE at my place 90% of the times it will be sailable by the time I get down there

Its southerley down here now - but not much wind on the water - it could krank in later

I had a fun sail on Tuesday night - came in at 630-7 - was good till sunset - big gear and hardly any waves - besides ifthere no wind its one of the nicest beaches to have a swim and cold ale afterwards.

Well done - was windy at home at 6 and was itching to head down but missed out - kids swimming at 5 and 7pm - heading down after work tonight with the family, beer and a snack or two - if it doesn't blow it will be a good spot to end of the week with a swim and a paddle.

Not sure about Goolwa sunday - don't think I posses gear big enough to sail 10 knts at anything more than a snails pace - and how do you wear a pfd with a waist harness

I am sure it gets good down there, I just haven't had any luck at Sellicks compared to heading up north to Bower Rd on a SE wind pattern.
