Sorry to dissapoint you TAA but Nene has been known about by lots of us for years. Its just that its a long way to go, and the wind is fickle that stops it not being popular. I have sailed it on a North/NW and it was awesome. If it got regular strong seabreezes Im sure it would be as good as some WA spots. And yes, agree with Pilchard that potential around PT Mac is also awesome, only the wind lets it down but agreed awesome if you live near there and can get there when its on...happy sailing :-)
So the wind is fickle and lets it down.Is there something you are trying to tell me.Born in Mt Gambier and lived ther for 30 years and 19 years of that I was sailing and surfing.Never had trouble with wind or waves .Built a shack at Nene Valley and had that for five years, And if I had my way I would shift back .
Not saying its better than W.A but it bets most of Adelaide
