Hi guys, I'm heading to Robe from Melbourne and I see there is25knots forecasted for two days. I'm 77kg and need to decide on 85L or 103L freestyle wave boards. What do you recommend? Or the seabreezes greater than 20knots? I want to maximise time on the water too (as you do on holidays!) Thanks in advance Simon

Also I have a 30cm weed fin that fits the 85L board so hopefully try lake George too.

I would go the larger board to maximise the time on water.

As Scotty said . When its SE there will be plenty of wind.
Start of Jan looks fantastic.
The 30 weedy for LG will be too big as the lake is too low and past its glory days I'm a local and won't even go out in the mudfest it is now.
I'll be around Beachport but just mostly sail onshore bump and jump as I'm getting on a bit to sail cross off like Robe is in SE.
Bring both boards or just the bigger one with a smaller fin if too windy.

Thanks guys.
Is there any lake near Robe that can be sailed on for some flat water practice?

we sailed LG yesterday full on 3.5 and 4.0. I had a 24 fin my mates had quads. Still a mudfest only a foot of water over 2 foot of mud in middle. Dragging fin each end. Too crap for speed gear.
