Wind should be strong enough but bit iffy on the swell
Beachport town beach was knee to waist high at best today if that's any indication and was forecasted at 1-1.5m. Those that know are saying 2m tomorrow.
Hopefully it's a good 2m and its a bit blowy down my way, Monday and Tuesday look ok too

Lucky you pilchard. Had this week book in for road trip and was looking good, until a little trip to hospital has put me out for 6 weeks.
Enjoy the SE winds this week , hope the swell picks up for you

That's terrible news Ty
We haven't had any 3m stuff that's coinsided with a south easterly yet. Normaly you get a few bigger ones early on that sort you out before you can adjust to port tack. Thankfully no gear breakages with nothing over head high yet. Hanging out for some size now

Good sailing yesterday with 5m and head high sets.
Got skunked a bit though, kept driving up to the back of the lake for wind checks with it only blowing 15-20k dead southerly.
5pm I head down, it's 20-25k, head high and super low tide. As I'm rigging down at the Nene creek John Magarey walks past with Sue and tells me that it's been on all day and he sailed the channel and the Nene Valley break on the high tide

Yeah, I checked out Blacks on Friday. It was nearly dead flat.

Robe was fun yesterday. Small swell with some sets well over head high at times about a km or so down the beach. Average waves though were about Bondy head high . Got very windy at solid 25knots or so and them peaked up around 30knots. Waves dropped away quickly after the tide turned at about 5.30pm but was worn out by them.

Was heaps of jumps to be had with planing conditions straight of the beach.

Definitely worth the drive.

Zubby, Blacks is a funny spot. Ive seen it dead flat with 4foot of swell on the reefs at walkers on a surf trip i did there one time. Westerly swell. Then if its southerly swell you get the oposite, flat at Walkers and cracking at Blacks. The island out the back obviously has a huge influence.
