west coast cranked last weekend. Sunday half mast + cross off 15-20kts at walkers. great banks/sections. This weekend looks similar/better.
qantas start flying to lincoln in february, fares from $48, 74 seat q400/dash8 plane = boards ok. plenty 4wds to rent or grab a lift with locals (some live next to airport), everyone shares cars/trailers out to walkers.
Susie's coming over this wkd (its tunarama). let me know if you are interested, will help if i can. West coast is awesome- there are HEAPS of undiscovered world class spots, also intermediate/beginnner. Sceales, Mullalong, coffin bay peninsula, Yanerbie bombie= jaws size (x shore in SE or NW; check fantastic noodles footage), all havent been sailed in years or at all.
food for thought anyway
Sounds great Maris - always loved surfing over there but never sailed it-
have to go to work on Monday so Sat / sun a bit too short - what's Feb -march - April like for sailing - long weekend in March Coming up
