A possible sailing opportunity has arisen. Rossiters Rd (like in the chicken)

We're leaving Adelaide about 11am... but will knock it off if the morning BOM prediction goes pear. Standby to standby.

Bring your PFD....

Yep ill be there!!

Would be nice to get a few down there. If youve never been to pt hughes then tomorrow's the day for it. It will pretty much be a definite 20-25 knots from around 1pm all arvo long :P

Forecast looks great Im in

Northeasterly 10 to 15 knots turning west to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots around midday then increasing to 20 to 25 knots during the afternoon, reaching 20 to 30 knots north of Cowell to Wallaroo late afternoon. Winds tending west to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots throughout later in the evening.

BTW I brought a cool O'neil PFD "it looks great in the back of my car"

See ya there

How did it go?

I got there at 11.30 with about 15 kts....

Had lunch and then got setup and by the time I was ready it had dropped to about 7 kts....

We waited until about 3 and nothing happened so packed up and went home.

By the time we got back to Adelaide it was about 18kts again!

Hopefully you guys got a sail in?

I think that was you I said hello to at the kiosk ?. Yeah, we waited for about 2 hours. It hit at 4pm. About 20 knots. Four hours sailing. A bit underpowered on my 85L board and 5.3 sail, but it was okay.

Hey j, yeah, I thought afterwards that it must have been you! Didn't recognize you without the floppy hat and sunscreen! Yeah, I should have stayed but after last weeks fizzle, I thought it would be the same. I caugt up with pirrad there and he said he was catching up with you guys! Will have to do it again some time!
