Hello All,

My names is Mick i have just moved over to SA from Melbourne. I am a POM who has moved around a bit and have windsurfed 15 out of the last 20 years over in the UK and WA but took a few years off recently. I am keen to start sailing again here in SA. I have found some good resources telling me which beaches to head to but wonder if you'd mind telling me where you guys rig up.

I think Sommerton Park may be my closest spot.

Hi Mick, up north the popular spots are Chicken Shop (Mirani Crt), Semaphore (Bower Rd) and North Haven (Australia II Dr).

Welcome to SA, lots of great local crew to hang with in SA, if you stick around here (and the Windsurfing SA facey page) you will quickly get up to speed with who, where and what is happening.

You might want to consider the Robe Easter weekend (about 3-4 hours South East of Adelaide) - 25th-28th March
