Just turn up when windy from West to South West and windy (20 knots plus). You would be welcomed...

Down south we sail in 15 knots so if you want some waves come to three poles (seaford) or uturns (cliff st)

I am relatively new to Adelaide as well. Am a flat water sailor. Sailed a couple of times end of last summer at Goolwa and eventually found Boggy Lake.
Have not sailed during winter.
Good forecast for Saturday, and have decided it's time to get back on the water. Thinking of Boggy to dust off the cobwebs.
Q1. Best place to sail on NW to SW winds.
Q2. Has anyone used the new B.O.M Met Eye and compared the forecast to actual wind strength on the day to see if it is accurate.

Gday, i'm also new to Adelaide Windsurf scene. Beginner/Intermediate. Loving every day on the water. Been scouring this forum for information on where to go and seems like Boggy Lake / Seaford / Middleton are the top3 spots? Anyone got any other suggestions for a learner who just wants maximum time on the water improving technique, turns, falls, starts, restarts?
Currently trying to get some of my old 1990's hand-me-down gear across from Perth to Adelaide and I will hopefully be attending the Windsurfing SA Open Day on 19th January at West Lakes. Any other learners looking for a fellow learner to go windsurfing, let me know.

For Consistent Summer seabreezes you cant go past Semaphore, second carpark on the esplanade after you turn on from Bower road is where most go. If you want bigger jumps, but more onshore, head further north to Nth Haven.

Always plenty of people willing to give you tips and advice at both these spots.

Bondage, thanks for the tip, greatly appreciated. Semaphore is a little closer for an after work daylight savings dash than Boggy Lake so if the wind is up one afternoon i'll be down there for sure. Jumps... not yet... only happens when i hit a sandbar!
