Russ, which BOM maps are you looking at. The only ones i know show red as over 60knots?

The same map its actually orange looking at the big screen - but it is no longer orange its back to green and blue. www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/viewer/index.shtml?type=windbarb&level=10m&tz=AEDT&area=Au&model=CG&chartSubmit=Refresh+Vie
wchecked it on my I phone - was going to copy the map and paste and now its completely different on my desk top

My bad - or the BOM is messing with my head - or I was willing wind and waves - must be going loopy-er

Thanks Russ, yep one of the same maps i look at.

Nothing wrong with going loopy, as long as its forward loopy, or back loopy

Anyone hopeful of a sail tomorrow morn - might head down earlyish -

if its small and a bit offshore was thinking of heading down towards the mouth if others were keen - low tide at 12ish

I'm keen. Swell is pretty small today and dropping. Good to get wet anyway

Judging by the forecast I'll be at Goolwa; will be a bit of a splash and dash session because I did some damage to my back muscles last time I saw you at Sellicks. That'll teach me not to sail for 2.5 hours straight! Plus it's going to be a scorcher!

PS: Surprised your not chasing that Dream sailing session at Waits? Might be a bit too punchy!
