Was Kai in town this weekend?? Other than Ty's post, I didn't see anything on the forum.

Yep, he took out first place at the SUP race this morning at seacliff.

I was neck and neck with him at one point... And then the start gun went off and I lost him!

I'm calling it an equipment fault...

Kai won the SUP race with a cracked paddle (did it in the first 10 metres)

Zubby, while you were eating ice-cream (we saw ya) Kai and the SUP crew were motoring past you!

Ty, we talked about windsurfing for a bit :)

I don't care if you talked about windsurfing Dave,your missing the point.
Most of the crew SUP and some kite a s well and they didn't get a heads up on what was going on ,I don't give a f..k,...just speaking out for the rest of the crew...

this is coming from a organisation point of view.

on top of getting ready for summer, the crew at ONBOARD did a lot of facebook promotion for both the sup race and kite demo.

just unfortunate that there was no windsurf event planned other wise i'm sure kai would have been there as he was in other states.

Still not getting it.
Don't care that there was no windsurfing.most of us do SUP and kite
Not all of use are on Facebook?
All I'm saying is why we didn't get a post on the windsurfing , SUP forum on what was going on,the kiters did???

I saw Zubby in the bakery and got a phone call from a mate who saw positively Divaldo at 3 poles on his SUP; Didn't hear anything about Kai Lenny.

I really don't know why i care about this, but surely with your first post.

if people where that keen to meet him they could've contacted pete (ONBOARD) or the windsurfing SA reps??

I was involved with organising some stuff regarding his stay in Syd.
Everyone seemed happy.

I'm not sure what else could have been done??
If your that keen you could have gone to the kite or SUP event and met him.

That is a awesome video mate. i didnt even need to be there to see what it was like. Great to see Adelaide get some attention from some big names! Pretty sure Kai would have rather been were i was on that day!!
