Some great footage perspectives and as for Jason, his balls would make an Elephant look like they have small ones.

No question JP rips and is a big wave guru - pioneer.
I do question his thought processes when it comes to ski positioning, take off or line up spots.
Good chance you might eat it at Pe'ahi "jaws" while sailing but getting cleaned up by a bomb set waiting is silly at best.

"but getting cleaned up by a bomb set waiting is silly at best"

I must say Pillie reading a few articles and watching a fair bit of vid from there over past few seasons the bomb sets break a lot wider and way further out and its not always easy to to tell how big as they hit the outer reefs from deep water - the paddle in crew are often ditching as they get caught inside by the bombs - miss a medium set wave with a bomb set looming - not much ya can do as your dogging out or paddling wide.

I reckon we've all been there when surfing decent size waves and made a bad call - I know I spent a lot of time trying not to drown in the NW of WA many years ago from bad wave choice - just nothing that life threatening

I reckon that would be an absolute B/stard of a swim.
