Hi all, I'm trying to get back into Windsurfing after a twenty year hiatus. Back then I had a big board which I could up haul on, and pretty much mastered the basics; steering, turning, rigging. I recently did a Windsup beginners course at Westlakes and found it a bit tame, but felt good to be back on a board. I do suffer with a bad back and would really like to have another go in more challenging conditions with slightly more challenging equipment, ideally with a harness (which I have never tried before), to see how I pull up afterwards before I go and invest in my own equipment.

So, if anybody could help me out I would really appreciate it, and I'm more than happy to pay for your time and lend of equipment for a few hours. I'm 6ft 5in tall and about 83-84kgs, i live in Seacliff but am happy to travel wherever, cheers.

Windsup are decent guys and I'm sure if you told them this they could help you out with hire

I don't have a setup that is suitable, but I can lend you a sail and a boom. PM me if you're keen.

Thanks mate, that's really generous of you. If I can get some other gear to go with it I'll get in touch.

Thanks for the advice mate, think I'll give them a call to see if they have some intermediate stuff to hire.

Hey Chris. Well done mate. You looked like you were doing really well. Especially in the unexpected wind strength
