You can set it to have big bold numbers which will make it easier to read on your sup+ it's just a better unit in everyway over the garmins.

To a point whan I had the garmin years ago it eventually got water in it and farked it, if you own an android phone just get a water proof poutch that attaches to your arm which comes with water proof ear phones, you can download GPS talker and this app will actually tell you your speed without having to look at anything.
