Seems like a fair few guys are getting in to freestyle around the place. Would people be keen to enter a little social comp sometime in summer? Conditions are easier to predict and get right??? Not sure we're the best place would be?

Good idea!!! Semaphore would good. Good for getting numbers and spectators.

Haven't sailed sellicks but I think param is the best freestyle spot although not the nicest beach.
