Hi All. Where is a good fastner retailer (preferably northern side of the city) I can get salt resistant screws from ?. Most either don't sell to public or don't cater for marine. I've burred a couple of mine. I want to have a couple of spare screws handy whenever I move my straps again. Thanks :). Ja

try the boating places on main north rd,should be able to help with several screws.there's a couple of fastener retailers out that side but you might have to buy a box of,or they have a min. invoice limit of $10 for odds and sods.

Is it Universal Fasteners? Blue and Red logo, they carry stainless steel everything, chaps at Edwardstown sold me some fin bolts and were genuinly interested in windsurfing....

Or, try Kyms parents shop at Goolwa, the slip yard chandlery, get there before lunch on a Saturday, they will sell you single bolts

i tried utd fasteners, the starboard ones are not like any standard screw apparently. yours might be different though. take a sample to utd.(cavan road) or coventry fasteners (grand jnct. rd) and they may be able to help. for north try blackwoods on phillip hwy. elizabeth. ther's even a boat shop next door ish.

new fav. spot hey carl?! just count your toes after each run. they were some pretty quick water starts

Hi Grandfromage,

Nice ride at north haven. I was practising how fast i could water start after the jump tacks i missed - nothing to do with the bitey things of course.

See you soon,

Cheers.
