Gday there, hope you have a great time in Maui - I just got back on Tuesday, had a couple of really good days at Kanaha last weekend good solid 4.5, saw all the Goya guys testing the new equipment. Hired gear from the Hot Sails Maui crew near Kanaha Beach - they mentioned another guy from Adelaide was turning up soon. If you have a no wind day, grab the car and do the drive down to Hana, there are a heap of waterfalls and pools to swim in along the way. Hope the trades kick in again soon.

Thanks for going to Maui Dave and Kim and bringing us some wind for the weekend.

Theres about 15degrees difference in the water temp and I can say I had to stand in the shallows for a minute and blow warm air onto my fingers to get some feeling back.

But we did have wind and probably 30+ knts tomorrow!!!

enjoy the warmth you lucky bastards!

Great to hear you guys are scoring,

Seems we have timed it well here, as there was only 5 decent sailing days in the last 35 apparently, so we are proving to be quite a hit :)

Lots of Aussies in town, Dave and Renata and the kids that we met in 2006, as well as Ian and Michael from north Sydney, also some peeps from the goldy (actually, this guy looks like he has stolen all of Keven Pritchards gear as its all US3 tagged)

Chris, I am still managing a few walks of shame, still not ending up with the kiters, but pretty damn close! I am really progressing already with my gybes and am prgressing very quickly with the chop hops, its a bit hard to avoid here as you well know.

Hows this for a laugh, Keith has offered us a go on one of his new Fresstyle / wave quad fin boards, its an 85ltr, so will pick it up on wednesday when it looks a bit windier.

You guys got any picks from the weekend?

Wind has been light for a few days, with little or no swell on North Shore, La Perouse and Dumps were great for surfing yesterday (we watched as it was mast high on the sets)

Looking good for Thursday through to weekend for high winds and swell,

Goya demo day at Sprecks on Friday :)

yay!

Dzub, How have you been?

Nice 4 - 5 km bank with glass water. Haven't sailed their yet but will give it a go this weekend. If it is as good as it sounds it will be great.

Divaldo - Have fun.

See you soon.

I saw a kiter racing one of the speed slalom guys today - kicked his arse! Fark he was quick!

Kiter had one of his speed boards - looked like a carbonart 48 board! or something similar, will try and get a look at it
