As much as I love wave sailing once it gets to 400 metres of head and a half high closing out white water in sketchy conditions - my swimming capacity is well and truely not sufficient (practiced after breaking a leggy last year and certainly didnt enjoy the experience - and with paddle in hand)

I'll leave it to the real men - unless someone can dig a nice R) hand wave forming trench between now and then to provide blasting channel and provide jet ski retrieval

Yep massive swell........ with a 4.6m swell at 15sec intervals what would that equal on the water 5 - 6ft plus and a 1k out to sea before you get past the breakers??

WSW for Sunday - could do something at Brighton - or further south? If Saturday could do a casual drive to Beachport?
