i have a maui 100 SRS SYNERGY mast constant curve ..430

but thinking of using it on a point 7 ,which requires flex of 64 bottom ,75 top .mast ,I'm a bit fairy brained about this .but found this chart
in unifibre ..it seems point 7 are hard top ,but leaning toward constant curve ??? at least point 7 write their flex on their mast ,can't find anything on SRS .but they say ..maui went from hard top to constant curve ,,

Yes Maui did go hard top to Constant curve.
The old ones read 74% Vs new 76-77% for top flex.
Changed about 6-8 years ago, my 2014 430 SRS is Constant Curve.

The unifier charts are done most years, the chart from 2014 won't be the same as the current one. Some companies have gravitated towards Cc from hard or soft top.
the company who make the mast MAY , give you the curve, they like to be secret.

if the curve is not in the ball park, you will give up range and performance Etc Etc, bottom line how much you can give up and still have some performance that was designed, AND how much it had to begin with.
my view is don't buy something that wants a soft or hard top .

I agree with Forceten about avoiding specialized flex patterns whenever possible. I'd be especially careful with Point7 cambered sails which are not only very sensitive to mast bend, but are designed around a mast with unconventional diameter also. The base of my Point7 100% 490 is about half a centimeter wider than my Mauisails490 (The MS is a wonderful mast by the way and seems to be very versatile). If you haven't bought the combo yet I'd really advise trying it out to be sure. Point7 required bend changes with sail size and application too, just to make it really fun.

The beautie of P7 is that they have different bend curve across their mast range depending on size... Go figure

7,2 2 cam requires 430 with a huge + 40 on the extension .
