Hi Ross, not a switch blade but I tried an older X6 460 on a 2010 7 m Blade and it didnt work that well. It had massive top end wind range, but no bottom end. It had too much profile in the bottom and twisted off to much in the top. May be different with a latter model X6 as I know pryde have been fiddling with mast specs and a switchblade. Have change to Loft RDM's and they are sweet
I chatted to you today about Loft / NP, just to reiterate: I used an X3 mast in a loft switchblade 6.8 for years and it worked fine. An X6 would probably be even better.
Having said that though, I now use Loft masts in my 7.3 and 8.5 Switchblades.
i know your not looking for a skinny mast , heres a my 5/8 on a 430 skinny, the sail could have a bit more outhaul but other than tat i don't have any complaints if a N/P will set on a loft mast , it should work in the reverse
