Hey peeps
I'm looking for a freeride sail up to 6.5m no cam (i crash a lot of jibes so waterstarting with cams will kill me). I'm looking for recommendations, plus a suitable mast to match. I'd be buying 2nd hand so i'd be looking for recommendation and if anyone in WA has anything up for grabs please let me know. Want to extend my sailing days. I do have a couple of SDM's but they are at least 15yrs old minimum.

Pretty sure I saw some cheap Ezzy infinity sails around 6m on the buy and sell,

I too would chase down an Ezzy, one of the newer Cheetahs if you can, and an Ezzy mast to suit. Good value if you can get them 2nd hand as they really do last.Waterstarting with the RDM mast is a revelation. When I got mine I had no idea the smaller diameter mast would bea easier to raise out of the water, easier to fly into the wind, and easier to handle in just about every windsurfing situation. It really adds to your comfort on the water and your feelings of security. These sails are much easier to gybe too. Switching to camless sails really help me get my windsurfing to a more competent level.

Cheetah are nice. As you are looking for a second hand sail, they were previously called "Freeride".

Although I dont have a World of experience, I can say that I really love my Simmer 2XC sails. They're cheap and, with only 2 cams, they're sweet to waterstart, plus give you the stability of a cam sail with the rotation of a RAF sail. I waterstart a lot and these are great sails in that respect. They're also (despite recent fall from popularity) a really good sail. I've been sailing 12 months and I'm nudging 30kts. I've held onto my 7.1 in up 25kts and they gybe sweet too. As a rookie, I have to say that since finding the sweet spot for my harness lines, these sails feel really locked in and powerful, while still feeling light to gybe compared to my smaller NP Fusions... which are also nice, but I prefer cams any day and will be swapping my smaller sails when my budget allows.
