First time out today on the black box ,have to say what aload of fun.
Sailed cross shore 20 to 25 knts and 1.5f waves
What a weapon on a wave..at 90kg you could say I'm to big for a 87L board, that's bull **** .takes abit to get used to the lenght at 215 but once your on the first wave that goes out the window
Happy I have one

Definitely the best board ripping in the earlier marginal conditions.

It looked to generate more speed on the wave face and super loose on the top turns.

Awesome board for winter day street conditions or day street most of the time!!

Day two on the Black Box
10 to 15 knts cross/off with 3f waves.
I can see why they made this board for light conditions.
Today was the big test for me and the board with light winds
Floated out the back to catch the sets and I wasnt sure if I had the wind to get me out, or to catch the waves,
once out the back you couldnt wipe the smile off my face
On the wave face it picked up speed quick with the wide tail and didnt need help from the wind.

The concept of that board makes a lot of sense to me after watching that vid. windsurfing wave boards seem to be always trailing surfboard design a bit.

Lets hope the other brand develop this small wave/light wind. Compact board design.

so in a nutshell they build a wave board with similar qualities of a freestyle board bar the flat scoop rocker line.
