Anyone got any real, I've sailed this, not just a theory actual review on one of these.

I'm pretty interested in the 94Lt model - it got a pretty good write up in Nov/Dec edition of Windsurf mag. I don't think there is anyone stocking them in NSW to demo - so just wondering if anyone has and what they thought - looks like it's been tweaked since 2014 model.

I've got the 78 '15 pocket. Its quite a loose board and alot different than the earlier pockets. Very fast.. Still best in the "less than perfect" conditions. Turns very well off the front and back foot. Since I was using a dacurve before I've been running the stance wider apart. The dacurve is still best for the big down the line stuff but I guess depends how often your sailing those conditions.

Sail wise have used 5.4, 5.0, 4.7 with the board so far.

I didn't like the older pocket. Couldn't really turn it... Seemed like you were always outrunning the wave. I only tried it a few times though but the first impressions weren't that great. This years they've brought in a lot more of the aspects of the Dacurve. Particularly the stepped rail as you approach the tail. Its pretty much a completely different board. A lot more wave orientated, and less bump and jump.

It does get a bit big on the 4.7 for my weight with its width but anything above that your fine. So far have used it in dumpy beach breaks to about logo down the line. When it got bigger I felt like I needed a bit more fin. I still prefer the dacurve quad I think for the larger conditions mainly for the drive, but in cross on the pocket is great for its looseness and speed. So far its quite a versatile board.

Totally agree with steck1983...
The pw78 is a great board , very different then the older models but i like to add on his comment that it also has a big range because i am only 66 kg and i love this board with my IQ 4.5 and i think it can even handle my IQ 4.0 with no problems at all.
Masthigh on the 78 is the upper limit for my weight i guess and my dc67 is then the better choice.
The new pocket shape is a big step forward and in the past there was sometimes one shape in the line a bit better then some others but now there all very good, very very good i must say... the board is fast , loose and skatey and has a really compact feel...
Personnaly i love the board for onshore but also for down the line when the wind is on the light side.
