Need some info on performance of this board - esp. compared to same, 05 Will really appreciate you answers thanks

I have had mine for about 4 weeks now and have only got it wet 4 times.
from what I can get from it so far is that it is different in a few ways to last years model.
It deffinatelty feels more manouverable and 'waveboard like' than last years board. I cant say if it is as quicker or slower to plane than the 05 but it seems to pop up very quick when in powered conditions. I am waiting to get a chance to ride it with a bigger sail than 5.7m on light days then I will know its limmitations.
Also it feels amazingly small in length compared to the 05, but in reality is only a matter of cm less. never the less it feels extreemly compact. It rides very smooth and all the fittings are of the usual mistral high standard. great straps, pads and a very grippy deck. love the fin bolt system that stays in the board when you remove the fin. just put the fin in, turn it a few times and push down the leaver, great!!.
The fin as a good size and drives the board up wind well.
The 06 is also deffinately not a slow board. Have ridden it on the river and out on the ocean and it flys quite fast and very much in control.
one final point I would like to make is on the volume. I am amazed at how much foat it has for such a small board. I weigh in at aprox 97 kg and it will float me and my rig with ease. Very handy for if the wind drops like it does on the river.
