My two cents on the 86 liter.

I'm 85ish kgs and used it regularly with a 5.7 and 5.3. For me it was a excellent board for moderate Perth seabreezes (18-25 kts) in the open ocean. The board is fast, easy gybing and a good jumper. I found it to be too big when I used it with a 4.7 in +25 knts.

As a back and forth, bump and jump board in a good ocean swell it was agile and confident.

As as wave board, probably due to my poor technique, I found it a bit too fast in the waves and had to slow the board on the wave or I would never be were I wanted to be and would be turning too far in front of the wave. It may not be a good wave rider but an excellent jumper due to its volume and speed.

As a flat water board I'm sure there are better options.

Today with all the multi-fin boards I miss a good fsw board like the kombat. They can be a lot of fun.

Awesome board - great fun as a B&J/allrounder - the Starboard Kode (freestyle wave) replaced the Kombat in the SB range
