I have ask a few different people now and that seems to be the consensus. The 103 seems to work really well for more advanced foilers in windy locations who are water starting.
Glad to here you guys are getting going in 10 knots on the 105 with 5.9!
Watching all the cool drone video's of Simon and JJ on the 105 has inspired me to get one. The new freestyle boards look nice too but I think I would benefit from the more outboard straps of the 105 for better up wind, because the higher up wind I go the more time I have to ride the waves downwind

I have a feeling this might become my most used board and maybe eventually make me get rid of the jp135 and 7.8 foil rig. Especially since this will allow me to throw the 105 in the car and few sails and drive to ideal spot after work. But the big gear is nice on really light days at the cottage, but not as fun as a nimble board like the 105
