Anyone foiled on this board?
I want the "super direct feet to foil feel" with no swing weight when carving down a wave.
I'm leaning towards getting the 105 considering the slightly(?) better low wind capability and ease of uphualing(I'm 65 kgs and can up haul my 85 litre board barely). I am interested to hear foilers who have had good or bad experiences on the 103. I'm interested in using one of these boards for winds 12kts+ with sails 4.2 5.2 and maybe more on the 105?.
The recommended max sail size on each board is 5.0 and 5.2, not much of a difference other then the 103 being 10" shorter and slightly thicker. I have heard of people using 6-7.0 sails for lighter winds on the 105.

We are using and have and tested all the other models of the Slingshot range (Wizard 125, 105 - Levitator 150 - Freestyle 115L and 87L)

Sorry we never got a 103L Wizard here and I don't know anyone having one. So no feedback for now.

All I can say is that the Wizard 105L (from what you are describing) , is the one to get.

With your weight it is no problem to uphaul.
It can take sails up to 7.0. Saying that, then the biggest we use here is 5.9 down to 10 knots (wave / freeride sails) with the Slingshot Hover glide foil (76cm front wing). This is from riders 78-86kg range

I have ask a few different people now and that seems to be the consensus. The 103 seems to work really well for more advanced foilers in windy locations who are water starting.
Glad to here you guys are getting going in 10 knots on the 105 with 5.9!
Watching all the cool drone video's of Simon and JJ on the 105 has inspired me to get one. The new freestyle boards look nice too but I think I would benefit from the more outboard straps of the 105 for better up wind, because the higher up wind I go the more time I have to ride the waves downwind
I have a feeling this might become my most used board and maybe eventually make me get rid of the jp135 and 7.8 foil rig. Especially since this will allow me to throw the 105 in the car and few sails and drive to ideal spot after work. But the big gear is nice on really light days at the cottage, but not as fun as a nimble board like the 105

I just got a Wizard 105 and sailed it yesterday with a 7.0 Ezzzy Hydra and an 84cm Infinity Foil in 9 mph. It works! Able to uphaul no problem.

That's good to hear! I know some Aussie foilers will be using this board more once winter comes and lighter winds.

allasad, How much do you weigh?

I don't see why the I-99 wouldn't work with the wizard 105. There is is a thread talking about this wing below if you haven't seen it yet. Foilers have used it on the wizard 125 with success.

I weight 175 lbs (80 kg.).
Spring is coming here to North America (mid-west) and yesterday I sailed 5.5 Ezzy Hydra, on the Wizard 105 with a 84 Infinity wing.
Wind was 15-18 mph. No problem. Too cold to water-start so up-hauling "a sinker board" is key.

As the wind calmed out to 12-15 mph, I sailed a 6.4 Rushwind, and later the 7.0 Hydra. AGAIN, up-hauling is the challenge.
Small boards for foiling is OK. I feel a bigger foil (wing) is better than a larger sail.

Still looking to talk to anyone who has a 99cm Infinity Foil on a Wizard 105

I tried the Infinity 99 once on the Wizard 105 - used C position which is what I use with the 84.
It works but I needed a lot of rear foot pressure to keep it up.
I could get used to it but prefer the 84 as it turns better

Uphauling the 105 is easy enough with practice (I'm 80kgs) although I avoid it if I can.

Love my 125 and 84 combo. My friend got the 103 which he enjoyed on windy days but said it was tough to get on foil in light winds. Sounds like the 105 would be a good compromise.

Friend has been windfoiling on his 2 week old RRD that is under 5'10" but 122 liters. Looks good.

The rrd pocket rocket looks pretty sweet. Especially since you can use it for SUP foiling and wingfoiling also, since it has tracks + DT box.

Mainly interested in windfoiling at the moment super stoked on getting my wizard 105.

I've had a Wizard 105 for over a year. I'm super light, 63kg. I used to live in the Pacific Northwest where the wind is really light. The Infinity 84 + a Goya Nexus 6.3 was magic for me in 12-15 mph. Uphauling is a little challenging, it's just very different from a regular board because there is no volume in the nose. You have to put your foot basically by the mast foot, so it takes some getting used to, to not rotate the board. And the nose is typically underwater. But it's very doable. It's a great board, I've used it with everything from a 2.5 to a 6.3. Heavy but extremely durable, mine has taken an absolute beating.
