Thank you. As you may know, I'm the slowest boardbuilder. I'm quite happy with the result, although I could have easily saved another 300-400g by using lighter materials.

Can't wait to sail it, but predictions don't look promising.

By the way, this is not Textreme. Textreme certainly does the best marketing, but I prefer to use this spread-tow fabric from Russia. No wonder, the best chessplayers are from Russia.

How much cheaper is the Russian spread-tow than the Textreme, and what is the filament count/tow?

I am only on my 9th

Oh yeah, +1 on the nice lawn!

Had my first ride on the new board today. I was on the Slalom 75 with 7.8 in gusty lightwind conditions. When the wind picked up a bit I decided to give the 59 V2 a try with the 7.8.

Impressions:

- carries a 7.8 without any problems.

- effortless in subplaning conditions even with a 100 kg rider.

- incredible acceleration. Seems to have no limit. Max. speed today was 34.89 kn and it wasn't hard at all.

- very comfortable stance, perfect insert positions.

-jibes: Can't comment on jibing so far.

-control: I had absolutely no issues today. The board felt loose and lifty but very stable as speed increases. Can't wait to try it in heavy conditions.

I had a great time on the water today. The Slalom 59 V2 clearly is my new favourite board.
