Hi All

I am considering getting some Severne sails for my JP FSW85. Not sure on the Blade or S1 yet.

Has anyone tried the Severne sails on this board? Have they gone well together?

Cheers

Darv.

sounds like great idea severne are very good sails . they will work on any board blade powerwave superstrong ,s1 super light not as strong in construction as the blade ,but performance is mint. severne are tested in west aust get into your local shop and test some . also try the gator . these sails are used by some best wavesailers in the country. severne sails for the revolution

of course if you believe the promotional material you can only use Neil Pryde sails with JP boards and Severne Sails with Starboard...

If you want a board that can be used with any sail brand you will need to buy a Fanatic....

Aah that must be why my sailing has gone from average to complete rubbish over the last few months as i've gone from Neil Pryde to Naish & Sailworks with JP boards

that's exactly right... Naish Sails used to work with Mistral boards but then they changed something which results in you having to use Naish boards exclusively.

As for Sailworks, they only work with some obscure brand from the US no one has ever heard off.

BTW, another interesting brand is Goya sails... they seem to work with both Quattro and Goya boards.... so you are getting tow options for the price of one.

a rugby style bonding session although sans any hallway defecation has resulted in a reasonable amount of teamwork between my Naish Sails, JP Boards and Neil Pryde boom. if there any further issues throughout the season my understanding is Jason Taylor is on standby to help with any mediation
