I am in the process of changing form NP to Serverne.i have been rigging the RSR's on Tushy 75% SDM masts as they have so far proved t be near on bomb proof (and very similar to NP mast's bend).

I will be getting the reflex III's when they come out and have a 7.0m reflex II untill they do.

I thought i would try and rig it with my existing tushy mast.
The pics are after the first rigging. I then added two cam spacers to the two battens above the boom to get rid of the wrinkles in the luff sleeve. The sail twists off nicely and it rotates really smoothly. Cant wait to get it wet

What cant you rig with a Tushy mast

Good to hear how it goes Bender, sometimes they look fine on the beach but not as good when loaded up on the water

looks a tad like the tip of the mast is a bit too soft by the lack of shape lower in the sail relative to leach twist, would make sense if you tushy's are close to NP's, would also explain the need for extra cam spacers but looks like it should work pretty well still might just have to be careful with downhaul so you don't get too loose top leach

Yes i agree
. it was fully down hauled as the pulley blocks were touching so as you see it its at max down haul. i'm thinking i will try it with a bit less and see how it feels. The sail definately has lots of twist though. just need wind now.

Bender,I had the same mast as Paddymac and used it with a 8.3 CR without any issues, sail felt awesome on it and rotated nicely, from memory just had to play with the cam spacers a bit.

Nice looking sail Bender I noticed on the Severne ad appearing on SB about Dunky taking the 2011 world championship, is his name spelt right? or is it a spelling mistake? Bjoern or Bjorn ?
