Hi guys,
Do the Severne Gator sails work well with the New Gaastra masts?
The unifiber table indicates this.
Has anyone tried it?
Alternatively, which Non-Severne masts work well with Severne Gator sails?

Hi Chris,

I have a gator 8.0 and use it with a Unifiber 460 RDM constant curve mast. Fits well although they recommend sdm 490. I didn't want to spend extra because its my only big sail (and don't use it as much) and I only have RDM booms/masts. I hesitated at first in purchase, but i can definitely recommend.

Hi i used ezzy masts (constant curve) in gators (6.5 and 6.0) and blades (4.2-5.7) with no issues for years, a mate used Naish in blades and they seemed exactly the same as my blades when we swapped gear , i suspect above 6 metre they might get a little more mast sensitive, not sure whether sails have got less sensitive or masts more similiar !, hope this helps

Blades would have been 3-5 years old now ( sorry switched back to Ezzy), believe the Naish mast was the firestick, whichever is naish's top end heavy duty wave mast
