I have the fox 95 and the 120 liters.
I am waiting for a new 105 liters but have been informed that there is still problems and must wait until last week of june (container problems for transport to Scandinavia)?
Have you got the v3 boards in Australia?
Is it really worth it to wait so long or for example go for a Tabou board instead of the Severne boards? The Tabou boards are also known as good boards in choppy waters. Its possible to buy other boards, but not the new from Severne, very strange!
What do you think.
With regards,
John

They're not out here yet either.

despite Aus being Bens home base, we don't generally get the new gear first. Europe's the much bigger market. So gear gets there first. We do get to see some of the gear (before it's released) though. And I can tell you that the 105 fox will be worth the wait if you can

Thank You "subsonic".
Do you have some inside information that the V3 is even better than the other V2 which I have (95 and 120 liters).

Continuous rocker? No planing flat?
It looks nicer than its predecessor. Cleaner lines on the deck without that raised edge to make the board supposedly stiffer.
Looks like they are bucking the trend of recessed deck for lower mast foot. Good.
The rounder nose rather than squared off 'stubby' looks better. Not sure why the caption is on the tail though. Was that supposed to be a caption about cutouts, which sizes have them and which dont? They changed the 95 to not have them.
No HD construction, but no details on what this board is made of.
I prefer more detail in brochures. As shops dont carry stock these days, in the UK , brochures should tell you all you need to know.

ps I'd prefer a tuttle box as carbon slalom fins are more common, but at least they havent weighed the board down by putting in a heavier foil box like so many have,

So square nose / pointy nose makes no difference? It was all fashion?

I sailed with Ben and a couple of his guys and others riding the pre production versions here in Perth a few weeks back now. Certainly now slouch and all feedback was positive from the guys who already had Foxes and tried them .

Seems like it. Fanatic did the same with their Blast. The boards are the same length as they used to be, so they have just shaved off the corners they added to make them square.
Fanatic and Starboard had a square nose on their slalom boards around 2005/2007 IIRC, but reverting pointy. Square noses dont look right.

Last information from my surfstore in Sweden:
The boards will arrive ultimo june to Sweden. The 115 liter has arrived, but not the 105 liters Fox V3.
What about the board in Australia?

Hi Phil,
Do you know if Tuttle is an option, or are you just hoping? As I am. I'd get one of these if there was a Tuttle box option. Most of the guys up here ride Foxes as they slay the rough water we get inside the reef.
Did you spot the bug in the image where the comment about the round nose appears at the tail of the board? ??

I've heard some very good reports about the Atomic Mastablaster www.atomicwindsurf.com/boards
Designed in Aus, manufactured by CA. appear to be very similar to the Fox, and , you can have a Tuttle box if you prefer.

Hi Billy,l have the Masterblaster 66 and very happy with it,very similar to my old 2013 Futura. Planes very early and eats the chop and very quick. Also Tuttle box which suits all my fins. I will never part with it. You are welcome to have a go on it if we catch up.
