I made myself a bag the other day with a boxed tail section for my Quatro quad. Problem solved. It's actually a small business of mine but unfortunately I'm located in Cape Town so that doesn't help you. Perhaps you can find a local manufacturer to do the same? Hope so! It certainly solves problems with shops holding stock of too many fin variations:
With fins sticking out they invariably get knocked on something. This solves all your problems. And it won't matter if you buy a thruster later on, or a twinser, depending on the fin/board size. All my bags have 10mm foam, and I make any custom sized bag. I don't see the point in differentiating between travel or "normal" bags. Anyway, I'm sure the forum doesn't want me punting my faraway business here :) Take care and wishing you much wind for 2017. Super windy here now, again
