Had my 104 for over a year and love it, at 112 kg it's my all in one board for now. With a 6.2 it handles it well with a bit of finesse on the backhand and foot so the fins don't let go when really pushing it. 5.3- 5.8 no problem and my favorite combo, I have the straps spread right apart, mast track in the middle, and move it either side of this an inch to suit conditions. Watch Keith's vid on how to set your quad straps up re your size as a guide,
When you get your first true tight rail top turn on this sweet board you will crave more. I find it easy to ride, and it's no slouch when it comes to speed if you know how to ride it off the tail. Helpfull for chasing down those set swells out to sea. 37 knots on the flat is what I've had mine up to if that's your thing.
Great choice of board if your around the 100 mark, a light wind option for lighter guys too.
Hay mate thanks for the setup info. Will watch that vid ASAP. Already running my straps as wide as possible. Was not shore about mast position as I would have run it forward to allow more volume under foot. Have you tried it this forward and how different is it. Been stinging to get it out on the water. But we have had no wind yet. How do you find the flot in under powered sailing. I'm 98kgs and dropping so hopefully will be able to get it out in some light wind.
How did it handle the high wind. I've got a 84ltr single fin high wind board which I would like to sell if I don't need it anymore. We don't often get 35knots but when we do I would like to just be able to ride it.
