Arrr me hearties!

Under the steady hand of the Captain Hooper I'd like to introduce the Nude Boards blog. Avast ye!

Nudeboards.tumblr.com/

Here you can spy on fresh portraits of fresh vessels and them out battling the dragons on the wild seas! Begone ye Krackon!

Furrrrthermore those with the book of face can find the handmade produce on at their own home port:

www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=107749229274029

So pull up an anchor ya bilge rats and take a caulk into the depths of the Nude Boards blog of treasures.

If ye fancy is tickeled by the portraits, direct yer qualms straight to Cap'ain Hooper for I am merely a messanger bilgerat me'self:

Note: The blog seems to have dropped. I suspect large volumes of traffic or Murphy's Law are the cause.

any chance the Nude guys can get board production happening faster ?

I am SO hanging for an 80 Chopper but am concerned about which half of the season i will take delivery in..

There are alot of crew keen on them - but timing of supply could be faster

perhaps more hands on deck helping to pump out boards would help.

Am super keen -as my Scarbs session last night has me so frothing on these shapes.

Choppers- so insanely sick.

I waited and waited for both my boards! Would I buy another? Without a doubt. It might take James a little time but the wait is well worth it!

The nudeboards.com.au one?

Yes it is pretty basic, an upgrade is already in the pipeline. To be honest, there aren't that many new small-volume shapers with flash "store-front" websites I know of. I only run the blog in my own time. If your after something flick James an email he'll sort you out.

That's one of my favourite paint jobs yet. Photos haven't captured the colours yet. All the photos I took made it look completely different.

I've got the Nude Streaker 46cm bought it off Crasher who got a 47 instead. Very sweet board, had it out at its lower limitsabout 20 to 23kts, and it stuck to the water beautifully, and felt like it has at least another two gears one for 25 to 30 kts, and one for 35kts + Just gotta get the conditions now

After having a ride of the boards you guys brought over to the east coast in Nov, I have one on order... Match that with all the new sails that are on their way and I am feeling like a kid waiting for christmas

Had my 99L Quad out in 2f waves yesterday with 20 to 30knts winds
Put my 5m Severne Blade up and what can I say ?
The board was F...... Great
All I had to do was move the fins back to suit me
Smooth ride
Turns great, did not feel like a 99L board

Can anyone tell me about the early planing performance of a nude quad (about 95l-ish ) please...have got a 2012 fanatic t.e 94l quad and am pretty disappointed with both the lack of early planing and speed...yes yes i know its a wave board but thought i would have been lots better. I have the 81L QUAD version and have no issues at all with that. Am using 5.3,5.7 and 6.2 blades with it...am 94 kg's. All fins set exactly dead centre of fin boxes....any comments ???

HEYY

Yeah thos fanatics are pox. you need to ride them 15 liters bigger. hard to get planing out through the brake.

PM to have a go on the chopper 90. This board is loos as and planes fast. You could consider something bigger.

cheers will

Hello:

The Nude website currently is suspect with malware, says Google.

I am 46yo 6'6"/230-5#, and sail mainly flat water freestyle here in Texas (live in Austin, will drive 4 hours to the coast for better wind/waves). Danny Aeberli made me the perfect freestyle board. A custom 125 liter Rodeo that covers me 90% of the time.

I am on a mission for the complementary wave board. I sail Severne S-1 4.7-6.3. Never been to Australia, but we do not see real swell here on the gulf coast. Usually, this is the best time of year, when days of southerly flow get suddenly reversed with a northerly cold front blast. Waves 5-6 ft with a short period, gusty 20-25mph winds.

A few years ago (2009), I was in Baja (PSC), renting RRDs (pre Quads). Winds were 15-20mph, real swell generated, but small waves, I mainly sailed a 115 FSW. It was a bore and felt like a boat. We had one day of @20, and I finally sailed the 99 WaveTwin since I knew I would not be slogging, and it was amazing! Super skatey/loose and planed up so easy. I never smiled so much. I later picked up one used a few months later. It is still a sinker for me if the wind is marginal.

It is freaky compact compared to most production boards. 225 X 62. The Nude Chopper 99 is pretty compact. What are it's dimensions? Looks like it has some serious tail kick/rocker too.

Going to Maui soon. I will rent the '12 Goya 104 Quad. I am thinking I need a 110 liter (just a guess), so will also talk to the Quatro guys about custom. I know OES make some bigger boards too. Not sure if Pete will be there.

I am looking for any feedback since it sounds like there are some big Aussies out there that have figured this out. You guys get to sail world-class stuff all the time, and there are no chances for me to demo a board in these big sizes. Just trying to make as smart of a decision as I can.

Hey Guys, anyone that is interested in checking out some NUDE chit chat and photo's of finished boards this is a link to our facebook fan site..

www.facebook.com/

We tend to post new photo's of the boards as they get finished, bit of an easier format for me to upload paint job photo's, and you can contact James through the website if you want more info or to order boards, just had a look and problem seams to be fixed.

Cheers FunkyJas....
