I'm about to buy some adjustable harness lines so I'd be interested to hear any user assessments.

When they pop they will pop big time - at least with rope and tube when the rope breaks you have a little bit of time on the plastic to get to the beach.

No like lookie of these things

I have a set coming to try, I will keep an open mind.
They are designed for hire/slash begginer boards so not high expectations but who knows?
A few of the guys that speed sail have been thinking about some sort of break away system on harnesslines so that if you hit the bottom at high speed the harness line lets go and you don't break booms. These may do it??

who uses their hands on the boom - thats so last century

Edit - what I should have said is in my annual harness line rope breakage I can often keep sailing just on the plastice sleeve if I don't have a spare in the car or just cant be bothered going in to change

When the whole lot goes (rope and plastic) when your hanging 90 odd Kg's off it a full speed in strong wind it doesn't matter how much your hanging on always comes unstuck in a spectacular fashion

Tried a set yesterday & was impressed
They are easy to install & lock on super tight.
They don't swing much which I like.
To adjust you just click one notch to loosen & then slide them either way or adjust the length.

They look a little fragile as the clips are hard plastic & I expected them to snap straight away when I hooked in (mental thing) but they went through a good pounding in choppy waters most of the day.
They fit the Slimline Boom perfectly & I tried them on a 32mm arm & they fit but not as good, haven't actually sailed them on the 32mm yet.



Downside is they don't slide through the harness hook as smoothly when pumping with the back hand, no big deal.

I was using the red ones 22" - 26" I think & they look like lollies "Allen's Snakes"

Will post some photos tomorrow

I fitted them as well but haven't tried them yet. They actually look OK, keen to give them a bash.

Paul, did you purchase on line, or is it something you may start to stock, or who if not you then.?

I got them on-line & no I won't be stocking them but some of the shops should.

A bit more work & they will be a great product.

I give them 6 months, if that.

It's very easy to bag something, but it's a little harder to design & manufacture, try it sometime

Oh, and then try & market it when people won't even try it

If we all thought like you we would be still riding wally boards

Extensive testing, design, manufacture, marketing or riding a wally board?

As far I am concern nothing memorable but to take his own photos and publish them in a website.
