Any thoughts on these booms? Good for my budget....

The Loft Alu line features a specially designed head that accepts any boom-height and/or clew position, without loading the boom/sail. This new hinged-design eliminates clew pre- loading. The Alu line is built with high-strength seamless T8 tubing.

The Alu line includes:
Neutral head:
-Specially designed head accepts any boom-height and/or clew position without loading the boom/sail. This new hinged-design eliminates clew pre- loading.
-The Neutral head design includes an integrated one-piece carbon head tube.
-The Neutral head accepts all mast diameters (rdm and ndm) with no need for an adapter.
-The closure lever is large and easy to operate for firm boom placement.
-Double-door head closure system for positive and easy mounting.
-Triple stainless steel rollers in the tail- adjustable outhaul compatibility.
-Foam-filled alu tail.
-2.5cm increments of adjustment with printed length references.
-Single-pin vario locking system.
-Harness line position print on the inside of boom arms.
-60cm vario range.
-Optimized 29mm boom arm diameter- easy and stiff.
-Soft EVA grip.

Slalom 170-230cm $169

I bought one of these about 2 years ago. Good boom. Good value.

I got the Slalom last year to replace a broken NP X3. So far so good. Not the same stiffness as a full carbon boom though, but for recreation sailing very suitable.

Also got the wave alloy boom from them as well, quite good too. Price is the attractive thing, each alloy should last 2 seasons or more. Happy with both.
