I am looking for a 115 liter board and saw a 2007 Kinetic Gladiator for sale. Since I live in SW United States, I had never heard of this board before. Thought this forum might be the best place to find someone who might be willing to share about this board. What are the best/worst features? Planning, control, speed, turning, sail range? Cheers, Eric

I had the 2005 100L and loved it, mine was a very fast easy board, they're freerides. Designed in Aus and well made in Vietnam, I believe, grab it.
Can't advise on the 115, I mainly used a 6.8 with mine and a 5.9 no cam when real windy. I did near on 36 knots on mine with the 5.9 www.gpsteamchallenge.com.au/sailor_session/show?date=2008-07-23&team=20

Thank Bob, I appreciate the feedback on the 100L. You seem to know about speed. Great pictures of your sailing site. I got a kick out of the sign warning about Crocs. No Crocs where I sail in North Carolina, but there is a sign where I sail warning of unexploded bombs from when the area was used for bombing practice.

I bought a Gladiator 115 back in 2007 when I got into GPS speedsailing.

Great board, for a while there it was the only slalom style board I owned and it covered everything from 17knots to 30.

I use to run 6.6 and 7.5 KA Koncepts on mine, with a 36 goldwing fin. Pretty quick, got her up to 36 knots, and fun to sail.

I'd describe it as freerace rather than freeride, akin to a Starboard Futura, which is what I replaced it with after a couple of seasons.

For the right price grab it.

Thanks, I purchased the board this morning. I think the fin was 32 cm, so may need a bigger one. The fins are Tuttle but the fin box appears to be deep Tuttle.
