This is up on the starboard website and it's 55*230 for an 86 litre.....that seems almost heretical when compared to all the other boards on the market. Regardless, it looks like an awesome board.

Yup, look at the size and steepness of the waves he likes to ride. Don't need a 58 cm wide platapus for those waves. And he must still weigh at least 175 lbs. at his height.

Is it just me or does KP look really thin and gaunt in that video?

Small and crumbly? None of that footage was at all steep or sizeable.

Any board that's not a slalom board i don't even look at

Tried a few wave boards on the river and nearly .....

A few free ride / slalom boards like the Futura and almost as bad

The Kode.....tried it once and those inbound foot straps were a nightmare!

Must be a industry first for a signature pro model for a sailor over 40 and not a regular competitor any more. Don't think even naish had that honor. Good to see industry looking at it main core age group. Liked his comment about young style bottom turns.

Friend of mine just bought a used Simmer Flywave, 2012 I think, 230 long, 56 wide, and 86 liters.

Even though he won this last Aloha Classic at Ho'okipa? Seriously?
He's got enough cred for me.

Easily the best looking starboard shape in years.

I heard his aloha winning board was a quatro custom. Dunno if that was a fact though

Not really exact though Starboard...

A swallow tail isn't exactly the same as a pin tail

They also supply it as a thruster when the aloha classic board didn't have a centre box

Notice his aloha classic board had 4x US Box... Unlikely to be SB made

Starboard does use US boxes, every Starboard I've had, and currently have, have US boxes as well as slot boxes.
