Thanks Daffy for the reply In the end I compromised & went with a 100% 430 & 75% 400, use the 430 down here more often. Interesting, I had wondered about the 7m on an RDM.

has any of you ever tried rigging a 2017 Koncept 6,2 on a 400cm SDM?
A 430 is recommended, but I happen not to own a good one.
In my sailloft Ultimate 5,6 I use a 400 instead of a 430 and I'm happy with it. At 85 Kg it seems I'm on the light side for speed sails, so the softer mast works well for me! Also in the Koncept?
I will appreciate any advice.

Sven....I have not personally tried it but I see no reason why it wouldn't work. You may lose a little bit of low end grunt but it should be fine. I suggest just try it and see how you like it.

You know that I had first focused on a No-Cam solution, but then the Koncept is just too tempting.
I think I'll have to try it.
