Three month old set of NP twin sided adjustables.
One line of stitching down the middle of the webbing for 25mm
lasted one good yank (my 90kg's) ripped right through the centre of the webbing. Same issue as this brand with the meagre threads as posted by Leech on this thread

So who has simular on market that has a good webbing and stitched to handle the loads
Up to this point, found these to be great, pity about the quality of the end product

I've had the exact same harness lines for over a year and had no probs. I will be getting set length lines next time. N.P X3 boom on the other hand . Cracked up lever which was replaced under warranty and a small crack in the head of the boom.

Macca, pull them out and check the stitching. Just one row dead centre on webbing for 25mm. Mine came in latest shipment 2008, so they may have changed assemble process, and or webbing quality

I feel your pain. Dakine adjustable, great adjustment block, easy to use, but one tiny row of stitching about 5mm from the end of the webbing.
4 sessions and Plink! they come apart.

I went down to Spotlight and bought some webbing, half an hour on the sewing machine and BAM! no more webbing pulling out. Easier to adjust now too, you can change harness line positions while slogging

No idea how these things pass quality control, maybe they expect everyone to keep buying that brand once it gives out after a month. Not this little black duck.

Take them back and get them replaced, you have 12 months warranty. I've had a set on for about 2 years and the webbing has started to fray but stitching is still good.

What I like about these is that they can be adjusted on the move, very few lines can do this unless you get the ones with the cleat. Also the plastic tubing is quite tough, I pump hooked in and this creates a lot of friction and wear. I've worn through the tubing in a couple of other brands way too soon.

IMO the Dakines with the metal buckles are useless after a few sails, the metal buckle corrodes and they become a fixed harness line.

Having tried a number of brands I still think the NP Race is a good option. The cleat type lines are the best (cant remember the brand) but a bit expensive for recreational sailing.

Warranty supported had a good hard look, compared to others (and the new set I received) on the failed one of the original, the webbing wasn't folded and stitched to gain strength, just laid up on the harness rope and one line of stich down the centre.
I like Nebbians idea of adding some quality webbing to ensure a good life on the product
