Just picked up my new wave board 2day!!!!
It looks great and the write up on the website about the killer double concave is all true. They are quite pronounced and are noticeable even under the back foot pads!

Hopefully i get some wind soon so i can compare it to my '09 JP pro wave 73

I'll try and get some comparison pics with the 73 aswell.

ok i took some pics and also realised i wrote the wrong volume on the thread title, but i cant change it any more. could a mod please do this for me?? please?

big concave between the fin boxes

serious double concave between the feet

new fin shape is kinda like the maui ultra fins

more nose rocker further down the board bust still the same nose hight off the deck compared to the 73 pro

board is a tad thicker than the 73 pro, but is also 10cm shorter

tail outlines very similar

you'd never guess i was keen to try this one out eh??

Well i had a good sail yesterday. I say good because i couldnt have sailed any better due to my fitness levels :(

Board felt great i'm really enjoying it.
Very quick to plane, very fast board, throws nice buckets, and feels very user friendly.
Admittedly geeries yesterday was quite windy at times and being quite over powered on a 4.5 made things interesting. I think its going to be a sweet gnaraloo board as well.

On the fins: yes they do still spin out like any other fin i found, i prolly had them 2 far forward for the onshore conditions and my rig wasnt set up as nice as i normally tune it so i was a bit all over the place, but it trucks up wind really well and was very fast out the back. would make a great competition board.

hopefully i'll get some pics off stefan to post up in the next day or 2.
