The German Surf magazine did a slalom vs freerace board test in 2020, boards around the 71cm size. They didnt rate the Futura as a fast board. Gave it a 3 for freeride as it was easy to use.
The Fanatic Jag, Tabou Rocket+ and JP Supersport were very fast, only 2km/h down on speed from the slalom boards.
RRD Firestorm was more like fast freeride..
A 100kg fast sailor where I live uses Tabou Mantas. He hammers his boards over the chop, does a lot of miles, and as far as I am aware has never had a board go soft. He changes his boards every 2-3 years, but must do twice the distance of most people. Surf mag said the Manta was harder to sail at the top end than the other boards.
Take a look at the AV boards, they are from the Kinetic factory. They have a Modena slalom board of 68cm/108l & 72.5/118l. I really like my Nuvolari freerace, seems fast and comfortable, although I dont have slalom sails to really push it. Some padding came off my van, and the board rubbed the paint off the van, not the other way around. Twan Verseput proves they are fast

With supersonic the iSonic shines especially in the upper
