Hi

I had a go of a mates Hypersonic 105 about 3 years ago, I loved it. I have had lots of experience with race boards and small wave boards previously, so I found it easy to use. I weigh around 72kg.

I maily wavesail and kite, but I miss sailing in lighter winds as I use to years ago. So I am keen to get a Hyper 105 or 111, as I have enough money for a new one of these (they are quite cheap now, being older models, and I cant afford an Isonic) Does anyone know if the 105 was a better board, as I have heard people say that the 111 was not as good as the 2003 Hyper 105. Is this true ? I had a mate who owned a sailboard shop, say this to Svein (when he was touring around with the Starboard demo days last year), and I think he said that Svein said that the 105 was the better one. Apparently Svein said that he actually shaped the 105, and it was a little rough, but the better board. I have my eye on a new 111, has anybody had a good sail of both.

thanks

Aaron
