Yep can't make up my mind which one I should get

i like the look of the hawk you can have the GT

just lamenting this week how much I struggle with chop

had a well powered session at manly RQYS 2 weeks ago on the futura 141 80cm wide 7m sail. It has taken 2 weeks for the tendons and muscles in my lower legs to settle down.

Walking up up stairs was painfull

hence I have been trying to work out how to do chop!! I'm sure it's a technique thing but hey who needs a reason not to buy another board

Plenty of windsurfers having fun on all different types of boards that day

Recently I sailed a mates Bic techno 283 bribie passage choppy. It was like a queen mary cruiseliner through the chop. Tony got 2sec 27knts. It was a lot smoother ride than my 114 futura and faster as the board was more in control. -- so much to learn!!!

Jeff, from what ive seen n learned the GT is easier to handle in chop. Naish heritage =Hawaiian test bench.
Hawk can be difficult to sail when pushed hard.
Ive sailed neither.

Patrik 125L f-ride is a sweet board for chop. Forget the 125L and think more 67.5 wide, 38ish long fin. I think it's a similar bottom shape to the Tabou but maybe a little longer. I have the Tabou in the 95L and love it fwiw.

^^ Paddy, not a great deal of info available for the 125 F ride. But it reads up as a great board for my size. More the dimensions i was looking for. As usual the board i want/need is not to be readily found for sale here in Oz. Grrr... Anyone know where i can source a 125 F ride?

Hawk good ,also the 125 rocket ,but you knew i was gonna say that ,my mate has the 120 naish ,not fast
the Newer Titan 120 how ever is very fast .

THE Patriks are little speed machines ,i like the Slalom models better ,as they gybe a lot better ,don't know why .
I have the 115 slalom ,it turns gusts into speed in seconds ,
i have the 140 freerace ,although very fast ,its a tank to gybe ,

rockets are easy to use and have speed .i like them cause its easy .and eat chop .

Can second the comment re the Titan. I have a 130 which I find planes early, is quick, handles chop with style, jumps pretty well for a big board and gybes nicely. Big improvement on previous Naish Freerides. But now replaced by the Galaxy! May be some good closeout Titans because of that. They're well worth a look. I have too many boards in this size bracket and the Titan and Fox are head and shoulders above their stablemates, especially when the water is lumpy.

Suspect Rocket has the most V, so is smoothest.

Haven't tried that one!

if your doing any ocean sailing ,you can't go past the rocket and the sail range is huge .

Deepest V is always smoothest.
Add just a touch of concave gives back early planing.

I'm your "size" and use the Rocket 145 in the open ocean to 25 knots wind. It's a really nice ride.
