I resently struggled to get DA kine foot straps infact couldnt get them .............why is this ? (i found a second hand board and did a deal there)

I think thier pritty good ,but still have to change them each year as the neoprean eventually rubbs through to the webbing.

Why do they have the DaKine writen on them in hard plastic which is raised
on the top of them ?

I believe that Dakine were recently purchased by Billabong in which the essentially surf orientated staff have had to get their heads around the wind side of the Dakine business and therefore some stock has been hard to get a hold off.

I reckon they would send them to you if you asked.

Yeah, I keep buying them for my boards after getting a hifly a few years ago that had them.

I bought a set of Dakine 'Supremo's for another board that needed new straps a while back, and man they feel good. I think I paid something silly for a set of 4 from Wetspot in Canberra, but in retrospect it was worth it.

Talked to the new Billabong Rep for Dakine in SA earlier this week, first shippment of Primo footstraps into Australia won't be here to the 2nd week of December!!
I took the last 30 Primo out of Dakine in Pauwela Cannery Maui today, so there's none left there either.
Hopefully, this is only time there is a shortage and not Billabong playing the same trick as Flying Fish and only importing what is indent ordered ,due to the lower volume of sales for Windsurfing products compaired to surfing software products.
