I going to buy new board and looking for bump and jump and want feedback which is best JP or RRD freestyle wave

I noticed you tested the ex-tech rrd. Like most boards the ltd ed boards are always a bit lighter and may feel a bit faster due to the crisper feel. How was the control and smoothness like on the ex-tech?
If it was anything like the 76 rrd I have been trialing, they give a smooth ride and a more relaxed sensation. I reckon these boards are all about control and carving rather than all out speed which for me is more fun in your location of heavy chop.
Kind of like the Exocet cross's and boards which have a similar bottom shape and they all go very quick but feel more relaxed with out the hectic speed sensation.
Would be interesting to hear how you found the rrd in the rough stuff.
