Hang on...since its April 2013 isn't this the 2015 model
Nice looking board irrespective of its virtual year.

Does Danny throw in a free beanie with it?

Great to see Fanatic back in the game.... current boards are only half way through their "period", i.e. the new boards will only be legal from 2014...but great that the R&D is in full swing already...

Sweeeeeet. They should test it on a fresh water lake high up in the mountains so it's ready for "real world" conditions :-P

Bunnings called... they want their barn door back.

The last photo is awesome. It looks like a production still from "Honey, I shrunk the windsurfer."

Oh yeah, forgot. Nice Pudelmütze!

Please explain!

Only difference is salt or fresh water if you ask me.. I would love to hear what high up in the mountains would make for difference on lake Como which is at 200 m above sealevel. Danny wearing a beanie? Thin air? Cold feet?

Maybe he is talking about Lake Sivlaplana in Switzerland. Due to the altitude what looks like 25 knots on the water surface feels more like 15 knots in your sail.

oh ... maybe this is Como (or Garda?)! Was looking at it on my phone and it's Danny so I just figured this was Silvaplana.

Anyhow, fresh water makes a HUGE difference to how formula boards (and espcially the fins) perform ... also the winds they get in those mountains at altitude are so fickle.

Just talking to a few guys in Italy now, it seems like this board is not too bad ... keeping up with Vincent Langer in the testing...and Vincent was 5th at last year's World's :-)

I actually quite like the red.
