I really wish I hadn't seen the release of these boards, now im Jonesing for two new boards: A Twinny 79 and Skate 100. From what I understand, there have not been any wild changes (shape wise that is) from 2010 with these boards in particular.

until these images I was a huge Fanatic fan - based on design, ride and conservative sprays (got a 104 Freewave 08 and 112 skate that I love)
I'm glad they look so ordinary cause there is no way I am parting with a hard earned dollar on these 2011 babies - can't wait to see the reapirers face when asked - can you match the spray - I reckon the 09/10 resale value should hold well

Ordinary?? I think not. But I can see where your coming from, they're an acquired taste. I actually think that Fanatic is jumping on the bandwagon from the surfing industry, i mean these boards look like my boardshorts! Totally eighties colors but, fashion is repeating itself once again!
I actually think that Fanatic is doing the right thing here. In reality, these designs reflect the retro pop-culture of today, Lady Gaga esq perhaps. They are targeting the younger generations it would seem, so from a commercial standpoint they are on the money..
