MATERIALS:
ULTRASPAN
- top shelf material built into critical areas that require a high degree of movement and flexibility. Using these super stretch characteristics is beneficial in areas such as the lower back, shoulders, underarms and main body. UltraSpan also maintains all the heat retention and durability required from a premium suit.

SOLARSKIN
- used in the chest and upper back area for its maximum heat absorption and retention properties. Also being highly durable with excellent abrasion resistance helps to protect the upper body.

DURASPAN
- limited to select areas that require less stretch and movement but still need all the benefits of warmth, durability and abrasion resistance.

SUPERFLEX XTEND
- where double lined suits require a Super Flexible fabric on the inner lining, we use SuperFlex Xtend. This material has the same high end qualities of stretch, durability and comfort, with the ability to hold and regain the desired shape during use.

CONSTRUCTION:
NEOPRENE
- 1mm S Foam

FLATLOCK SEAMS
- two panels of neoprene are overlapped and then a flat stitch is sewn over the top creating a strong and durable join. This flat stitch is water permeable and used in suits for warmer waters. Also very comfortable against the skin.

CONTOUR CUT
- we have engineered each seam and panel layout to meet particular flex dynamics required by each suit. To do this we have utilized several material characteristics such as flex and stretch then shaped them to follow the contours of high demand zones like the shoulders, back, underarms and legs.

SUREFIT
- using key materials and innovations we have designed our suits to fit the physique and demands of windsurfing and kitesurfing crew. Area’s such as the Chest, Back, Shoulders and Forearms all get special treatment in the design process.

Yeah thought I would give a heads up on the Flying Objects Neo Top.
Ive been surfing for many years, windsurfing for 5 and SUPing for 1 and have tried numerous amounts of long sleeve tops which only last 6 months at the most. I like long sleeves because I dont have to cover my arms in sunscreen and I hate the brown arms, white torso look hehehe. I also feel the cold. After a sail I would usually get changed first before I de-rig but now I stay in my boardies and top. Usually the surf brands have tops 0.5mm thick with the silver stuff on the inside. This always seems to come off in the first few months. And they arent made for wearing harnesses. The FO Neo Top is the ducks nuts being 1mm thick and no silver crap on the inside. It still fits snug like the first time I wore it and I have been wearing it at least 3 or more time a week. There is no visual evidence of wear and tear from wearing a harness either. I love this top and wont buy anything else again. Give it a go

hmm I got one of those 0.5mm tops by quicksilver, has like a half zip on the back, glued seams (magma welded lol) and everything. Doesn't have that titanium stuff on the inside. Its awesome. Had it for about a year and half now and wear it everytime I go sailing spring summer autumn. Doesn't really keep you warm, but I mostly just wear it to keep the sun of my arms and shoulders. Much better then a rashy imo.

Can't find it on the quiksilver website but anyway. Good product, super comfy and way more durable then a rashy :)

The FO Neo Top is not a rashie.
Id probably call it a wettie top.
It keeps you warm and keeps the sun off your arms and shoulders

Its pretty much same as the quicksilver thing I wear, cept what I got is a bit thinner, living in qld, anything thicker would be uncomfortable.

Does the FO top ride up at all? I find the 0.5mm thing I wear does occasionally, I imagine the slightly thicker material at 1mm wouldn't ride up much?

I would probably agree that a 1mm wettie top would make you swelter in Qld.
No, the FO tops dont ride up at all as it has a loop at the front so you can thread your boardshort cord through it. Check the photo out. I also think that if you have a nice snug fit top it wouldnt ride up like a looser fit top would
