Hi

Has anyone got or riden one of these boards??
How do they handle local conditions.
Thanks

Hiya,

I have a 75L wave board and absolutely LOVE IT. The other half has the 69L and I think would probably like to sleep with it if allowed!

My last board was a JP and the difference is immense. Where the JP was really twitchy and skipped out a lot, the Drop hugs the water and you can really dig it in. Both the Drops are excellent in the waves, easy to ride and most importantly, great fun.

They are also pretty tough as there has been RARE occasions when I have bumped it etc and it has stood up well.

We are deffinetly converted, but take one out if you can and give it a spin, you'll be impressed.

Thanks DaCurls

Sounds as though they are great boards. May be time to upgrade and get a new toy for summer.

Happy sailing...

Hiya

I also have 2 Drops boards here in WA, and I absolutely love 'em!!
They are fast, great in the waves, and as a lot of the Drops Wave range are designed with Onshore/Cross Onshore conditions in mind, they get going quickly too, and I think suit the majority of WA locations really well.

I personally have really liked any of the boards Sean Ordenez has designed. His sails (through Hot Sails Maui) are great too!

There are a lot of very very good boards on the market these days, so plenty to choose from, but I do not think you'll be disappointed by the SO 83l.

Happy sailing!
