first ques: (this was asked here about two years ago) NP race boom with internal Outhaul. Does it come with ram shim or not ? Some said they all come with the shin .but that was 2 years ago. What about today .on NP website it's says it's not .

sec ques. Severne enigma race boom 180-230. Anyone here have one ..looks really nice. But no out haul cleat ? I plane on using adj outhaul..but would be nice to have option to use a fixed outhaul too ?!?

They come with a small loop of rope you can use in emergencies, at least my bigger IQFoil Enigma did....But I don't think their race booms have cleats. Goya/Chinook/Maui might? I have an aluminum rdm/sdm boom in the large size that has both (Avant 200-260), wonder if their carbon booms have both.

I assume NP boom a generic rpm shim would work. if I can't find NP shim. there must be a law in the US against selling NP gear .....can't find much if any of it in US....except for wetsuits.

Any idea if I could use it without an adjustable outhaul?

How dumb is it making a boom adjustable outhaul only

If you buy one of the black wheel thingy's and screw it on to your clew eyelet you can loop the rope over.

You will then need to adjust your length of rope to perhaps 10 percent of the length in the p[c.

All booms should have a cleat.

I hate adjustable outhauls.
